Let's Go Birding Together!
Saturday September 7th - 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Meet at Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters Join Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge Ranger Logan Sauer and Buffalo Audubon Senior Naturalist Tom Kerr on a walk for everyone who loves birds and the outdoors. We welcome those who identify as LGBTQ, allies, families, and anyone who wants to enjoy an outdoor experience that is inclusive. Binoculars will be provided and a Spotting Scope will be provided. |

We'll talk about how they build dams and the habitat they create, and touch real beaver fur. Then we'll try and build our own dams! Afterward, play in our nature center's new beaver lodge! |

Basic Survival Skills
Saturday, September 28th - 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM Beaver Meadow Nature Center Learn some basic outdoor survival skills with Buffalo Audubon Senior Naturalist Breton Sloan! This class will focus on securing water, starting a fire, and building shelter.
