EXPLORERS
Campers who have completed K, 1st, or 2nd grade by July 2025
9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday - Friday
Member Fee: $350
General Fee: $400
Campers will explore nature using all five senses, encouraging exploratory growth through guided programs. Throughout the day, campers will record their experiences and explorations in their take home nature journal.
Available Weeks 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6.

They will experience the peace of standing in an old growth forest, running through the meadow chasing insects, and searching their dip nets for creatures in pond. They will see birds closer than ever before! Each camper will learn about nature in the best way possible: by spending time in nature.

Camper's will use their binoculars throughout week to get close-up looks at some of the amazing birds of Western New York. Your campers will learn hoe to be 21st Century Birder by learning to use technology such as eBird, Merlin, and more. They will participate in community science programs and keep track of the birds they see through the eBird online database.

Campers will sleep in a tent and wake up to the dawn chorus of birds singing. All overnights are staffed with a minimum of one male, one female, and one medical professional.

COUNSELOR IN TRAINING PROGRAM (CIT)
For individuals 15 years of age or older who want to learn more about becoming a Beaver Meadow Camp Counselor. Volunteer as a camp counselor in training and develop skills for working with children in nature. For more information, please send an email to [email protected]
