Cazenovia Park Owl Prowl
Saturday, April 1st - 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM Join Buffalo Audubon and Buffalo Olmsted Parks for a nocturnal search for the Eastern Screech-owls and Barred Owls at Cazenovia Park. We’ll learn about the habitat these nocturnal predators need as we listen for their calls. Space is limited and registration fills quickly! Meet at the parking area in front of the Cazenovia Casino. Ages 8 and up. BAS Members $12. General Admission $15. |
Early Birds of Spring - Beaver Meadow
Saturday, April 1st - 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Spring is here are the birds are already arriving at Beaver Meadow! Join Naturalist Tom Kerr for a hike through Beaver Meadow in search of the Bluebirds, Tree Swallows, Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers, Wood Ducks, and more that get an early start on their nesting season. Mindful Hike & Yoga - Beaver Meadow
Sunday, April 2nd - 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM Join certified Yoga instructor Debbie Smith (500 RYT/C-1AYT) as she leads a meditation, hike, and yoga session. Hawk Migration Workshop - Beaver Meadow
Saturday April 9th - 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Look up! It's Hawk Migration season! Join Naturalist Tom Kerr for a Hawk Watching workshop and learn how to ID those raptors before they soar out of sight. Pack a lunch and bring a lawn chair and sit outside with us watching for Hawks as they migrate past Beaver Meadow.
